I recently built my first pc and since then i was wondering what can i do to make it better.
Spec-
Pentium g4560
8gb
1tb hdd
Gtx 1050 ti
I don't play many games to upgrade to an i5 or a getter gpu. I get good fps on max settings on the games i play. I mainly use my pc other than games but for media consumption. I like to watch videos at the highest quality and have multiple things open at once.

There are software tools that allow you to clone the entire drive to the SSD. There are others that will allow you to migrate just the OS, but the easiest would be to just perform a clean install of the OS onto the SSD. What I would do:

- Export browser favorites and e-mails.
- Back up data/personal files to off system.
- Insert OS Install Media
- Shut down system and install SSD
- Boot system from OS Install Media
- Format both drives
- Install OS onto SSD
- Install drivers
- Update OS to latest
- Install anti-virus and anti-malware onto SSD
- Install and update most often used programs onto SSD (browser, e-mail, office programs, etc...)
- Install secondary programs onto HDD
- Restore data/personal files from back up to HDD
- Import...
Upgrade to an i5 or i7 Skylake depending on your budget. Also get 16GB RAM. You would be best to sell your 8GB and buy a new 2x8GB kit (always buy memory in a kit as they are tested at the factory and are guaranteed to work with each other with no errors). Add a 256GB SSD for your OS and primary use apps then use the 1TB for file storage. You'd be surprised how much snappier it will be. I did all the above to a 4-year old HP laptop that came with an Ivy Bridge i3 and it was like a brand new high performance laptop.

Some SSDs like Samsung come with software to do that for you. It's an easy mirror. There are also free download versions to do it as well like from Acronis (https://www.acronis.com/en-us/lp/personal/computer-backup/).

Just make sure to move your data files off that HDD and back up because you can't mirror your HDD to your SSD if the space is larger of the HDD. I'd recommend leaving at least 50GB available if you have a 250-256GB SSD. The core OS should be around 20GB for Win10 64-bit.

After an SSD upgrade, I'd consider upgrading the processor to a Core I5 and upping your RAM to 16GB.

Memory chip batches come from the chip manufacturer; not the seller (Amazon) nor the module manufacturer (Crucial, G.Skill, Corsair, etc...). I'm talking about the chip plant most likely in Thailand. If there is a variance between one batch and the next, even if they are both sent to Crucial and then on to Amazon, and then finally to you, they still may not work together.
