I have this Palit GT 1030 GPU with DVI D 24+1 pins and a HDMI port. But my monitor is 720p VGA monitor. So if I have to connect my monitor to the GPU through a converter either HDMI to VGA or DVI D 24+1 pins to VGA do I need active converters or passive would do just fine? It would be awesome if you guyz put some examples in answers.... Thnx :)

it shouldn't but the easier way is dvi to vga

or

the hdmi to vga, no idea why but it dies sooner than one would like and works weird most of the time, gives problems with monitor detection, noise and resolution sometimes, ymmv
