Hey so I just bought a new gtx 1050ti for my budget computer... I can't seam to be able to get a display...
Yes I'm plugging everything into my gpu not my mobo. Now here is my issue I have 2 monitors of different gen. I only plan on using one but one has no dvi but obviously has a vga and has a hdmi. The other has no hdmi but has dvi and vga...???
I'm thinking of using a dvi to vga split to run both vga and hdmi on the first option
First what monitor would you sugest I use? secondly to run a display do i need both hdmi and vga/dvi? I think so due to lack of display I'm getting.
In sorry if this is complicated my mind is just everywere today. Thanks in advance

Not entirely sure what the problem is. But I'm not entirely certain of the situation you're describing, so see if the following is accurate.

Monitor A has VGA and HDMI inputs.
Monitor B has DVI and VGA inputs.
You want to use either Monitor A or Monitor B, and not both.

Q1. What outputs does the GTX 1050 ti have?

Q2. I don't understand the purpose of the 'split' you mention. What purpose does it serve?

Q3. It sounds like you want both inputs into Monitor A. Why?

Q4. What monitor cables do you currently have available?

Only one cable is required for a display. It seems easiest if you just choose your preferred monitor and use the appropriate cable to connect it to the graphics card. There are DRM issues with VGA, but depends on...
