Hey, Im Still fairly new to the whole PC building thing. I have been using this i3 4170 for a good minute and I figured it is time for an upgrade. So I picked up a i5 7600k which was not compatible with my mobo so I picked up a Gigabyte GA-X150M-PRO ECC to match the socket of the CPU. Soon as I got home after a long drive to the store. I popped the mobo in and set everything in place....and here came the problems. For one the USB 3.0 cable for the front of the case would not reach the slot on the mobo but It didn't really matter to me cause I never used it. But is there some type of way I can extend it ? Then another front usb cord could not reach the slot on the mobo. I have a dell inspiron 3847 case if im not mistaken (Just temporarily). Then here came the biggest problem of them all.... I have 16GB of DDR3 ram and the mother board only support DDR4 so i have to wait to get that as well. But when installing the motherboard, will I need to reinstall windows ? Or can I just uninstall previous drivers and reinstall the new ones ? And what CPU air cooler would be good for a decent OC, I plan on getting the NZXT phantom 410 case btw. Will this case be a good choice for what I am doing ?

(P.S) : I thought I did all my research but apparently I missed a couple of things
