hey there everyone,
I play gta 5, and lately it has been lagging a ton. Sometimes it even crashed (twice or so).
What I have done already, is check for driver updates, used optimised settings following Geforce Experience, lowerd a lot of settings like textures. At the top of the graphic settings tab you can see how much those specific settings use of your graphics card. Using my settings it uses a bit less than HALF.
I have changed a few settings in the nvidea control panel that I found on the internet, wich helped others. Those did help, but after a while they stopped working and the lag came back.
Below are those settings I changed.

I hope someone can help me.
Thanks in advance

The first thing I would try is a uninstall and reinstall and if that doesn't work it could be a issue with the ram. The recommend amount for that game is 8Gb s having that amount exactly could be the problem causing you to lag I would look into getting an upgrade in the near future. Also your system looks as though you spent most of your money on your graphics card having a great card can be good but your system should be overall balanced.

If I could make a recommendation it would be to double you amount of RAM.

I agree with the Upgrade of RAM that was my initial thought but I don't think It could bet he bio or overheating.

If it were overheating it wouldn't lag it would either crash the game or more likely the entire system.

Thats the weird thing. With Rocket League it doesnt do this. I know it isnt as resource intensive, but still....
