Okay so now that I know I will have 350-400 dollars by December what should I go with a CPU or GPU upgrade? My Specs are as follows
CPU: i5-6500
RAM: 16GB DDR4 @2133 OCable to 2666
GPU: R9 380X 4GB Variant
MOBO: LGA1151 H110M-K
I play games that are VERY CPU heavy and not many that are GPU heavy besides ones like Black Desert Online; the main games that are very CPU bound are Rift, WoW, and ESO. I do see a lot of frame drops from 60+ all the way to 25-30 sometimes more, In WoW when that happens its because 1 core hits 100 percent usage with all others are at under 25-30 meaning its single threaded MOSTLY my GPU in WoW is always 20-70 percent. I also get good drops in town in Rift with all cores around 80 and 1-2 hitting up to 100 with GPU around 100 as well. ESO is kinda more evenly balanced with my GPU usually at 80-100 and CPU at 30-90. I also play some others like CSGO and Fallout 4, but I get enough frames in those games that if I dont get a FPS boost it dont matter.
