Alright. The graphics card I would like to buy, The bottom where it plugs into the motherboard is only pinned (Like has the metal on it) for 8x, But the connector is as long as a 16x without the rest of it having the connecting pins. I'll send a link to better explain

But my question is will this work in a pci-E 2.0 16x slot.

I only ask because I currently have an A10-7850k 4.2ghz quad core. And that's perfect but the mobo only has 1 pci-E 2.0 x16

it will work in a PCIE 2.0 slot but since its only wired for 8x and it is going into a 2.0 slot, than It will run at PCIE 2.0 8x. Not a big deal for that card since it won't even use that much bandwidth. Might be why it only wired for 8x anyways. Saves on manufacturing costs.
