Any reason you want a i7? If you need the extra cores/threads then Ryzen 5 is probably going to be your best bet. Also going with a i7 is pretty much half your budget.

12GB is an odd size, youll be looking for 8GB or 16GB. 8 is still enough for budget builds unless you have some explicit need for more.

8GB is fine for now, going with 12GB or 16GB will go over your budget. The motherboards I picked support 4 slots so you can eventually upgrade to 16GB (4x4GB).
