Hi,

I'm looking to purchase a new PC for about £900 but WITHOUT a GPU as I already have a GTX 1060 6GB strix.

I've been browsing on the internet to buy computer without a GPU so I have had to resort to companies like pcspecialist, freshtech solutions, etc...

I'm looking for speed in my new PC as in boot times, loading times etc... however I am fully aware that companies that I have mentioned just throw random components into their builds so am trying to be cautious.

I'm looking for advice on how to go about it as I'm not fully aware of compatibility. For example, what difference would a more expensive motherboard make if I were to have, say, an intel i7 7700 with 16GB RAM and a SSD and all that stuff and how can I be sure that my GPU would fit into the case and such (I;m looking for a pretty basic case with a few LED lights)

Also I'm wondering about how much difference do different types of RAM make - e.g. the difference between 16GB of 2400MHz and 16GB of 3000MHz.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated and just general adivce when it comes to picking different parts and what to look out for or maybe a particular build that you like the look of.

Thanks for your time!
