A little over a year ago, I got 16GB of G.SKILL TridentZ RAM factory clocked to 3200Mhz for 85$ USD new. And today, someone asked me for some good affordable RAM; and so i went back to go find the link and found nothing! I got it off Newegg and it looks like it's 150$ now.

Memory prices have been known to widely swing up and down as well. You would have to go back in time to see what general prices were to compare. Just something to consider.

Well the thing is, I don't recall them being on sale and it would have to be almost 50% off, which would not be profitable at all, they'd be losing money.
