For some reason every time I run a game that requires a high load such as PLAYERUNKNOWNS BATTLEGROUNDS or GTA V my computer will shut down randomly, hell it will do it on google chrome on some occasions. I replaced my PSU, RAM, and GPU so I know those are not the issue. The MOBO doesn't make an overheat warning beep and every component "Dies" at once and then I can turn it back on like nothing happened.
Temps seem fine to me the highest one is the northbridge but people on here say that's normal.
Specs:
OS: Windows 8.1
CPU: AMD FX-8320
Mother Board: MSI 760GMA
OS HDD: 500GB ?RPM Laptop (Had a back-up OS on it so I use that as my main drive.
Prev. Main HDD: Mechanical 1 TB 7200RPM
GPU: EVGA GEFORCE GTX 1060
PSU: EVGA 850w G2L
RAM: 8x2 GB HyperX and Corsair RIPJAWS (Issue happened before installation as well)
It started happening when I lost my old drive to a Windows Update corruption and they refused to allow me to install another out of fear of piracy. I wonder if running it on a laptop drive is the issue. I just want to stop this as soon as possible because I have sunk a lot of money into the replacements and am out of ideas on how to fix it so I can play PUBG with my friends.
