What is this small grey foam piece in the bottom of my case?

The question is in the title. I'm not sure it is. I touched it fairly lightly and it came slightly out of the position it was in. It seemed to be lightly glued down in a single spot.

My questions are:

- What is it?
- Have I damaged anything by moving it?
- Can I get rid of it?
- Should I get rid of it?

Solution
If you broke the glue bond by lightly touching the foam pad, then it wasn't glued very securely in the first place. Perhaps it was just wedged in there. As suggested, use some double sided tape to place it in the center of the PSU bay as shown in image 7, and you will be fine once the PSU is installed.

Was thinking that too but isn't it a bit small? Also, am I able to remove it and have I stuffed up by accidentally breaking the glue hold?

I just took it out. There was a tiny drop of glue holding it onto the bottom. The back of the foam is completely sticky but it doesn't seem to attach to the metal? Will it stay in the case or will it eventually come out? I'm guessing it'll stay in, but there's nothing there clamping it so where am I supposed to place it?

I don't have any double sided adhesive tape.
