Can you provide the make and model of your motherboard?

Generally, the way to enter the BIOS is, right after you press the power button, you hit either the Delete, F12, or F2 key to enter BIOS. Different motherboards may have a different key to gain entry.
 


Most programs such as Speccy or CPU-Z will show your RAM at half the expected speed. Most boards today use dual channel RAM and the advertised speed is the effective speed of two modules working in tandem. Only have one module? It will operate at half speed.
