How do I stop my laptop from changing its brightness whenever the display colors are getting darker? It seems like the laptop brightness is trying to adapt with the colors being shown in my screen. My laptop is an Acer E5-575G

I already tried turning off the adaptive brightness in the power options but still it's not working and the option for changing brightness automatically when lighting changes is missing.
