Hello,

I recently upgraded my rig my specs are as follows

Amd R5 1600
Noctua DH15
Asus B350 Prime
16 Gigs Ram DDR4 3200 MHZ (RipjawsV)
850W Power Supply
1080TI Msi Twin Frozer

I recently started to overclock and I've managed to get 3.8 MHZ on the Core with 3088 MHZ on the ram as it crashes on 3200 MHZ. Any suggestions on to make it work with 3200?

The voltages are 1.36V Variable I've seen it go up to 1.397V on Aida64 benchmark
1.1 SOC Voltage

My temps dont go above 65C on the CPU. Do you think i should push it further or it is not worth the Extra Voltage the reason am asking its because its reaching 1.4V almost on full load

your suggestions are appreciated.

BAsed on what you are saying, is it possible you are increasing the ram frequency without adjusting the timings properly? If you are manually overclocking the RAM and the core separately i would do the following:

set RAM at defaults

aim for a stable core clock with RAM at default

enable XMP profile for the RAM to auto matically over clock it to the appropriate setttings. (these include multpiler, timings and voltages all within safe limits)

Hey man i basically use the XMP profile for the ram which takes me to 3200 MHZ with all the timings based on the Ram Specs i only up the SOC Voltage to 1.1 and the ram voltage at 1.35V then I begin to overclock my CPU however it fails with 3200 MHZ the computer shuts off & on three times then it tells me your overclock failed.

Man u mad u need to red the specs of ryzen 5 1600 I got one and maximum ram speed is 2666 not 3200 or 3000 so use 2666 as the cup can't take more then that and don't overclock ryzen cup more then 3.9ghz that is maximum stable speed at least that is wat I got stable mean 65 temp on full load stress test I got a good cooler master no 1200l be safe and sound
