Hello, my current pc is not that good it has a fx 4100 a 670 and a really shitty cooler. What i need an answer to is that if i upgrade my fx 4100 to a 8120 (reason for 8120 is i got it for a great price) and upgrade my Zotac 670 to a msi gtx 960 (good price too) will my psu fail its a cooler master 550 bronze modular psu. i frogot to mention my new cooler is a Corsair Hydro Series H60 CPU. i dont have enough money for a new psu so if it wont work out suggestions for any upgrades?

Your PSU will work just fine but unless you are getting these parts very cheap it may well be better value to put the money into a longer term upgrade.
there will be no further CPU's made for the AM3+ platform.

I recently upgraded from FX-6300 to Ryzen 5 1600, it's a huge performance jump and will last you many years before you wish to upgrade again.
Not worth it, your still stuck with weak CPU cores which are key to a good gaming CPU. Those exact CPU's are not listed here but ones from the same range are, if you scroll down to the games you will see the increase is small with the exception of F1 2013 http://www.anandtech.com/bench/product/1280?vs=434

Personally I would not put any more money in that old platform, just save your money until you can move to a modern platform.
