I got my old pc whit a fx 8150 in a corsair v formula, I am about to build a new pc but I want to leave this for my brother, the problem is the pc is not working right.
3 years ago I star having problem whit my hard drive, startup problems and random errors, so I format the pc, few months later a similar problem happen, so I think bad luck and I format again, then happen again in weeks, I didn't have time I was in my university finals so keep on formatting and the problem keep on coming, each time faster then before.
When I finish with the finals I realize I have an other hard drive in a dead laptop so I take it of and put to on the desktop, it work well for about 3 months and then all the process againg.
My conclusion was that the laptop hard drive I was old and didn't work well so I buy an SSD 240gb, again it work well for about 6 months and then fails boot and errors.
Whit windows 7 I have random error and it just start and I get the mouse and black screen, the mouse move but I don't have respond form any keyboard command.
In windows 10 the start menu sometimes stop working or the shortcuts on the windows desktop lose there link whit the original folder, sometimes the windows functions just stop working like cortana, windows store, edge or windows search and some times the control panel won't open, that happens until window don't boot any more or keep on restarting.

I don't know if I can have bad luck whit 3 drives in a roll or it is the motherboard, but I want to fix it so my brother can use it. I try different sata cables and different ports. Some times when I format or switch drive it don't detect the drive, so I turn it of unplugged and plug it aging somewhere else and the drive is back.

I am almost sure is the motherboard but I want some second opinions.

Sry if is to long but I want to give as much detail as I can. Ty for your time
