Hi everyone,
Recently I've been experiencing random reboots of my PC when playing newer games such as Prey. I've tried to diagnose the problem myself and various sources are pointing towards my PSU being the root of the problem. Apparently, the parts of my PC are requiring more power but aren't getting it, and I wanted to check with any experts on here to see if I need to get a new one. My current psu is a Corsair 550 Watt VS550 and I'll put a list of the parts below:
Processor : Intel i5 4690k @ 3.5GHz
GPU : Sapphire R9 280 3GB
Memory : 16GB Corsair Vengeance 1600Mhz (2x8GB)
Storage : 1tb SATA 7200RPM, 500gb SATA 5400rpm
Motherboard : Gigabyte GA-Z97P-D3
Fan : Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo Air CPU Cooler
I'm really not too sure about these types of things, but if you know would you give me an opinion?
