up until recently my pc has had no issues, but now for some reason im experiencing weird lag spikes in games and at the desk top, the only way i can describe it is as if the game pauses for a split second, then goes to where you would be, i get no visible fps drop and this also happens at the desktop.
the cursor will pause for a split second then jump to where it should be??
i have run numerous Virus, malware and spyware scans each com,ing back with nothing.
ive also monitored my cpu and gpu when this happens and cant see anything out of the norm.
any help would be greatly appreciated.

msi z97m mobo
GTX 1080 fe
Corsair h100i
samsung evo 850 250gb for os
corsair ax760 psu
16GB corsair vengence ram
