Hi guys This is my rig before anything:

Intel 7600k 3.8Ghz
Corsair Vengeance DDR4 8gb 3000mhz
Gigabyte z270x K5 Mobo
EVGA 600w PS
EVGA GTX 1080 Classified

I'm trying to Install my new Gpu the EVGA 1080 CLassified before this one I had the EVGA GTX 750ti working fine. After installing the new GPU I only get blank screen my Mobo lights up the VGA light for like 20 secs then it beeps like normal boot up all lights on the new card turns on and the VGA warning light turns off ( like it continued to windows). The monitor detects the input but I can't see anything even boot up logo or anything. I thought the GPU was bad but I took it to my friend house and Installed on his rig ( almost same than mine Only he has Gigabyte Z270x Gaming 7 mobo) and It worked perfectly.

I've been reading around and many people say its a driver issue so I followed every thing possible, reseting cmos, bios, uninstall driver with DDU and installing back again, updating bios, removing sata devices, ram reinstalling everything back, well everything. I installed my friend's Gigabyte GTX 1060 Xtreme Edition on my pc and had no problem all worked perfect so I really dont know whats happening if someone has any other idea please let me know. Thanks Ahead!

I've had this issue before. I had a legacy card in a mobo that uses UEFI, so UEFI boot was incompatible with the vBIOS. I had to switch it to legacy mode (BIOS mode). It's possible your original card forced the UEFI into compatibility mode, and the auto detect has become disabled. Try booting with both cards in the machine at the same time to change the UEFI settings. Also, make sure the new GPU is seated properly. It can be a tight fit and you might not notice that it isn't all the way in.

Hi, I tried on other port and It detected the Integrated gpu instead of the PCIe gpu, I then restarted and disabled the integrated gpu on bios and restarted went to blank screen again like it was on the other PCIe

When I placed the GTX 750ti I selected the first option for video on bios as PCIe 1, It works well with that 750ti and my friend's GTX 1060

Thanks

Hey I saw those Options on my Bios Its says
Storage Boot Option Control------------------------- Legacy
Other PCI devices--------------------------------------UEFI

Those setting are the default ones should I try to change UEFI to Legacy?
Thanks

I could work, though a 1080 Classified should definitely support UEFI. My GPU that needed legacy support is an ATI Radeon HD 4850 from early 2008. I'd say go ahead and try, but if there is a Auto option, you should select that instead.

Also, did you remember to plug in the PSU 8-pin PCI-E power to the 1080? That is extremely necessary and is easy to forget (I've done it before).
