So I bought a acer aspire laptop that already had windows 7 home prem on it and I had a disk with pro on it from my desktop so I thought let me upgrade this thing even tho I really didn't need to... so simply put it's missing and can't reinstall: PCI simple Communications controller, network controller, and Ethernet controller leaving this thing dead in the water with no way to connect to the internet.

My specs are:
Processor: Intel(R) Pentium(R) CPU P6200 2.13 GHz

RAM: 400 GB (3.68 GB usable)

64 bit Operating System

Model number: 5733Z

Please help and ask for any other specs I'm missing out first time posting on this website thanks again.

Yes I understand what your saying but for the link you provided what exactly am I looking for to download to fix this problem also I am doing this over the phone so can't I just download the files and put them on the laptop and it should work or do I need to place them in a certain folder/location?

Alright thanks I did exactly what you said had to pin point the exact wireless lan driver so I went through installing 2 others that weren't right but in the end I got the driver I needed it resolve the problem knew I could depend on the people on this site thanks again!
