Hey Tom's Hardware Community,

I have been experiencing blue screen errors from my PC for the past 6 months (it happens maybe once every 4-5 days). Some of the errors that I have seen are:
"whea_uncorrectable_error", "PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA", "DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL" and "APC_INDEX_MISMATCH".

I downloaded the CPU ID program to see if I could identify the problem and I can't figure out what's going on based on what it shows me and what I look up online (the RAM interface looks normal to me and I was expecting this to be a RAM-related issue!). I was hoping one of you could please identify my problem if I posted the .txt file from the CPUID and tell me how to fix it.

I uploaded the .txt file to a website called "JustPasteIt" (I hope this is a good format for you guys):
https://justpaste.it/18w05

This community has provided me with so many answers in the past. If you guys come through on this one I will be so stoked!!

Thanks!

Solution
APC_INDEX_MISMATCH is often caused by old BIOS versions that do not match the device driver versions installed. it is often fixed by a bios update and update of the drivers from the motherboard vendors website.

whea_uncorrectable_error is generally a power problem caused by overclocking or overheating of the GPU or CPU. updating the bios will remove any bios automatic overclocking on older bios versions.

the other two are pretty general best to update the BIOS and motherboard drivers and retest to see if you still have a problem.

Thank you John,

I'll work on that ASAP and post again if any issues persist. This is great to hear because I was worried I needed to buy a new GPU (to replace my GTX 770) in order to play PUBG (which has a recommended minimum GPU requirement of a GTX 660 as far as intel GPUs go). Thanks for the answer. Can i upvote you or anything like that to help, outside of selecting your comment as the answer?
