Hi there,
First time poster, long time fan
When I left my old job, I was gifted with a couple of out-of-date servers.
My initial plan was to set them both up as VMware Hosts and share some storage over an iSCSI network, along with vMotion for work.
But.... That's no fun.
So I was wondering whether one would perform well as a gaming PC?
The specs are:
HP G6 DL380
96GB DDR3 ECC RAM
2 x Intel Xeon Quad Core CPU
600GB Local SAS storage
I've spotted PCI Express slots but wondered whether there was anything that might be a bottleneck, with regards to bus speed, etc?
