I recently bought a Ryxen 5 1600 and an asrock b350 pro4 motherboard. After replacing all of my components the system showed no sign of life. I've narrowed it down to the 24 pin socket on the board. When I slightly plug my 24 pin connector in, the system fans and cpu cooler turn on slightly like they're stuck in a repeated start up. But when I fully plug in the connector, nothing happens. I'd like to know if there's any type of fix to this.

This answer is based on the assumption your system components are all new/newish, connected securely, in working order & compatible with the am4 platform along with the wraith cooler or other (confirmed) AM4 compatible cooler.

Did you by chance end up using an older or incompatible PSU, or possibly forget to plug in the EPS 12v 8 pin connector? It sounds like your processor isn't receiving power. Did you try using just one stick of RAM to get it to post? Is it possible you incorrectly connected your system panel cables incorrectly or misinterpreted the directions for them in the manual? Do you hear any beeps when your attempt to turn your system on? If so, please describe them.

Are any pins on your processor bent or broken? If you exhausted all other options, call Asrock support, to determine whether the board may need to be RMA'd. Though I'm going to guess, or hope, that isn't the case.

Yes I made sure that ice plugged in the 8 pin connector. And my power supply isn't old as I recently bought it. It's a corsair 500 watt. I think the problem may be something wrong with the motherboard as the psu worked with my previous lga 1151 build.
