Blue Yeti causing other USB devices to stop working

I have a Logitech keyboard, mouse, and keyboard. They've been working fine for the last 6 months. However, I just purchased a Blue Yeti off of Amazon because it was on sale. When I plugged it in, my other devices (keyboard, mouse, etc.) stopped working, forcing me to restart my computer. This would happen within 5 minutes of plugging in the Yeti. Now, with it unplugged, I am going on 2 hours soon of it working just fine.

Is this a common issue? What do I do to fix it?

it wouldn't hurt to try since a powered hub would be supplying its own power. but some devices don't work cirrectly when connected to a usb hub

How much power should the Oculus Rift draw when not in use? I wouldn't expect it to be very much.

I have a i7-5820k, 16gb RAM, 1080 GPU, ASUS, X99-A II motherboard, Seasonic 550W PSU (could it be that I need a bigger PSU? I don't really feel like taking it out and replacing it :p)
