Small office network I set up for my wife has worked flawlessly for the last few years. Plugging computers in and out of the system has never been an issue, they all found the/ a network and shared files and printers.
We had the print server die on us recently and I installed a clean win 7 machine to handle printer services... and it will NOT find the network.
It HAS found the internet, refuses to connect a browser to it, but WILL download updates.
All of the computers "claim" to have found different networks, wife's is on network 5, file server is on network 4 (I have no idea why they "find" different networks, all plugged into the same router) but they joined the same "Homegroup" and share files without issue.
Print server found "network 2" and cannot see any of the other computers, nor can they see it.
Someone help a fool out. What is the issue here? Why can't this Win7 computer see the existing homegroup, or the other computers on the SAME WIRED NETWORK see it?
