Trying to upgrade a Pre-Built PC, some questions with GPUs and Power Usage

Hello and thank you for checking out my thread.

So I'm looking to give this pre-built a slight bump in performance so I can enjoy the few games I can run in at least solid 60fps at my native resolution.

I looked around in threads with people who have the same pre-built looking to upgrade it, said PC being the Acer Aspire TC-605_W i5 4440 3.1Ghz 8GB Ram (pointing out details because there's a 4GB Ram version) . The motherboard has one PCIe 16x1 slot, and a lot of people suggested him the GTX 750Ti since it has a Minimum Power Requirement of 300W, and the card draws 60W, but after I asked to a few friends who know about computers, they say it won't cut it, since other PC Components draw power as well.

I can't find the brand of the RAM Sticks or the HDD, and all I know is that the PSU is a FSP300-60THA(1), the CPU has a Thermal Design Power of 80W and that the Motherboard is an "ACER Inc MS-7869 VER1.0 motherboard" (Although even after googling that it won't show me any specs about it regarding power usage and such)

I was told these numbers in the sticket matter a lot, and although I read a thread about it, I still can't get it through my head, I could manage to understand that perhaps a GTX 750Ti won't be the solution since it'll be running the PSU on its absolute edge, or perhaps not even be able to supply enough energy.

First suggestion people will drop here will probably be "acquire a better actual 80Plus PSU", which I absolutely will once I reach the money, but right now I want to start a general idea of what I want to purchase so I don't run into an incorrect purchase and sit with a GPU that won't fit my PC. I'm aware the WORST case scenario is that my PC simply will not boot up should it not meet the required (W) supply, or random shut downs once the GPU starts hoarding more power, so I'm not that worried.

I know I couldn't manage to round up a lot of information that is rather critical for this topic since this is a pre-built PC and has generic components, but with that being said, I'd like to ask which GPU would do just fine for this PC? Will the 750Ti be alright? And if not, I'm pretty sure any GPU that isn't so old would do better than an Intel Graphics 4600.

Thanks in advance for any and all the replies to this!

I also figured I'd post how much space I have available to fit a card in, and by the looks of it, I seem to only be able to fit the tiny GPUs or single-fan ones, then again, I'm not sure.

Solution
^^^^I agree about the 1050 ti too. I don't know how pricing is in your area but I got mine on ebay from newegg on sale for 120 and it runs off the pcie slot and gets really good frame rates.

I can't really imagine a 750 TI wouldn't work on it, or a 460 for that matter. It must be a 300 watts at least, and your hard drive, motherboard and RAM doesn't suck up 200 of those watts combined. Yes you do need a better PSU if you went with a card that requires external power for sure. I am still using a Corsair 525 watts thats been going for 6 years now.

by saying that, you're also confirming my PC will do fine with a GPU that requires 300W minimum?
I took a look at the 1050 and it certainly does look like an upgrade at the same power requirement, so I'll see if I can acquire that one instead
