Hey,
I recently bought an asus z270 F strix gaming motherboard and a i5 7600k with gskills ripjaws V ddr4 ram 16 gb 2400 mhz
It arrived yesterday and before the installation i clicked a pic of the cpu socket just in case it was bent i didnt notice as i was confident amazon won't ditch me so i installed everything ram gpu hdd when i started my pc there was no display but all fans were running fine and there was a yellow light on my motherboard which indicates that during POST Dram didn't respond so i changed the ram into different slots but still the same problem i cleared the cmos with jumper just to be sure but still the same problem i removed my gpu and tried onboard display still the same problem.. it was a yellow light with an orange light of pwr standby it was written their on the orange light or it indicates power.. but anyways i dissembled everything and saw the cpu socket pins photo on my phone and i saw the pins were bent so i refunded my motherboard but i am still concerned is it the ram or was it the motherboard ? please help
Thanks
