My laptop is not installing windows seven after a recent restore. I keeping getting a error basically saying windows could not install restart and try again. I tried the shift+f10 and if does nothing and I Dont have another computer can anyone tell me how to fix this. It is a gateway computer and should have all the programs in the computer but that's all I know.

What do you mean after a recent restore, you tried a restore to a different restore point or did you do a full system restore to factory new using the recovery partition? And it is probably not Shift F10 but Alt F10. http://ccm.net/forum/affich-53091-how-to-restore-a-gateway-computer-to-factory-settings
