is it worth updating the bios to support kaby-lake

I was curious if I should spend the extra time updating the asus motherboard bios to support an i7 7700k or is the 6700k just as good?. With getting the 6700k I don't have to update anything where the 7700k I do. Is it worth the time?

If you already have the 6700K, it isn't worth the cost to move to the 7700K.
If you have neither and are asking which one to get, get the newest; the 7700K.
Do you already have the board and one of those CPUs? List your system so we know what we are dealing with.

so I don't have any cpu yet! but the motherboard that I recently bought: https://www.amazon.com/B150-PRO-GAMING-D3-Motherboard/dp/B017AECHQI/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1499992535&sr=8-1&keywords=b150+gaming needs a bios update to work with the 7700k. I didn't know if spending thetime updating the bios was worth it.
