Hey guys.
In the past week I've decided to upgrade my cyberpower PC rig, I originally had a 4790k and an ASUS motherboard. I upgraded to a X99 Deluxe and a 5820k, I decided to keep the same cooler as its less than one year old and it seemed to be working just fine. When I finally installed the new motherboard and booted up the pc, my pump was not being picked up in the BIOS (my guess is that it's not getting the full 12v it needs from the CPU_FAN header) not only was that happening but now because none of the heat was being taken away, my CPU started to heat up. Now I have tried some fixes and I've turned it back on a few times to try some things since that happened. If I have to I will replace the part, but I would really prefer not too. Is it dangerous to have the CPU on when there is no cooling?

Solution
Same thing happened to me i guess this cooler are just install it and forget it if you remove it after some time clean it and install it it will not work...

Verify in your bios, you must have a fan control, that's set to low, or in
auto mode, etc...
If you do, then set these at full speed.
Reinstall your corsair Software, make sure it's running, and configured
correctly, put everything at 100%.

Go from there....

I will give that a try, I have already tried maxing it out in the BIOS, on both the actual CPU_FAN header and a CHA_FAN header, both had no results, the other headers also did not work when quickly tested.

The problem that I am having with the Corsair software is that I actually run out of time when waiting for windows to load, as I've just installed the motherboard, Windows is having some trouble and every time that I run Windows it has to try to start the system repair, this as you know takes multiple minutes, and the CPU has already reached and almost gone over TJ max by the time I've even started the repair.

Is an AUX header straight from the powersupply? If so I have not.

If your install of Windows is damaged, or functioning bad, reinstall from scratch.

I know it suck's having to do it, but, if your Windows is already buggy,
it will only get worst with time.
While you reinstall Windows, I suggest you use an air cooler, then once
everything is good, reinstall the Corsair....
