Hello there! I am trying to build a gaming PC that can live stream, record, and play games such as Overwatch, Battlefield 1, Subnautica, and Rocket League at High settings! My budget is around $700 to $750 and I have already bought a power supply(SeaSonic S12II 520W 80+ Bronze Certified ATX Power Supply)
The reason I am confused if because a friend of mine who has built many PCs and knows a lot about them told me that the specs that I am using are not good.
Here are the Specs I was going to use to build it.

CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 1600 3.2GHz 6-Core Processor.
Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-AB350M-Gaming 3 Micro ATX AM4 Motherboard.
RAM-GeIL EVO POTENZA 16GB (2 x 8GB) 288-Pin DDR4.
Storage: Western Digital Caviar Blue 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive.
Video Card: Asus Radeon RX 480 4GB Dual Video Card.
Case: Corsair SPEC-01 RED ATX Mid Tower Case.
Power Supply: SeaSonic S12II 520W 80+ Bronze Certified ATX Power Supply.

If anyone knows what is wrong with my build or what works better for this budget than please tell me! Thank you and have a great day!

Only problem I see is getting the rx480 is about impossible. You should get DDR4 3000~3200 RAM. The 1600 overclocks great on the stock cooler getting 3.7~3.8Ghz. Other than these small changes I have no ideal why your friend doesn,t like the build. I'm about to get a Ryzen myself.

I saw the rx480 for $211 that's why I was going with it. Although, it doesn't seem to be for that price anymore D: Also how much more would the RAM be? And do you know any specific parts that I should go with video card/RAM wise?

Cryptocurrency miners have bought all the GPUs recently and the prices have skyrocketed as a result. Maybe get an RX 570 and a Ryzen 3 instead when they are available. The components you want are fine for a budget build and what you want to play at 1080p, your friend probably thinks a GTX 1080ti and and i7 7700k is a "budget" build.

Thank you this is very helpful, but still does anyone know which specific parts would fit my budget? Again schwattz this is extremely helpful.

Also I just read two articles about the upcoming Ryzen 3 CPU's and one of them said(this one said it had leaked information) that, "the Ryzen 3 1300X quad core CPU will retail for $129 and the Ryzen 3 1200 processor for $109."
These are supposed to be released on July 27th so which one out of those two would I want to buy(doesn't matter the price since they both will probably be cheaper than $200). Thank you!

Go with the 1300x, but I'm not sure what heatsink it will come with.

The RAM tend to run about $10 more. The only video cards under $275 I can find in stock is the 1050ti.

So this RAM and Video card will partner well with the rest of my specs? (I'm probably going to get one of those Ryzen 3's) Thank you for the help elbert!

Ok sounds good! Also would I want to buy a CPU cooler for it?

Btw, this graphics card/video card looks great and I read a little bit about it. I need to know if I should buy this now because, #1. It looks like it performs well, and #2, it comes with a free copy of Rocket League if I buy it from Newegg.

Thank you for the recommendation on this!

I would stick with the 1600 as it has 2 more cores and about 50% faster. In games the 1600 is more on par with the i5 7600K. The R3's are more on par with i3's.

By "I would stick with the 1600 as it has 2 more cores and about 50% faster", are you referring to the AMD Ryzen 5 1600 3.2GHz 6-Core Processor?

So I probably won't be needing to use that anytime soon since this is my first PC build. Thank you so much for the help!

Ok elbert I have one last question for you and then I should be good to go. Also schwattz thank you so much for your help man! Anyway back ti the question, I am able to buy the graphics card right now.(EVGA GeForce GTX 1050 Ti 4GB ACX 2.0 Video Card) I'm going to buy it most likely tomorrow and I need to confirm that this is the graphics card I need. Also turns out that doesn't matter where I buy the graphics card, it comes with a code for a free copy of Rocket League. Thank for your help, respond when it is convenient for you!

The 1050ti is the lowest end card I would suggest for gaming. I would suggest the 1060 6GB but bit coin miners has caused the price to go to high. Same goes for the 1070. You can buy the 1050ti anywhere you like. Its a great video card and I suggest getting it fast before bit miners start buying them all up.

Hey I needed to ask you one more thing. The RAM you recommended(G.Skill - Ripjaws V Series 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR4-3200 Memory) went up in price form $144.99 to $158.99. If it stays at this price could I go with the RAM I was originally going with? (GeIL - EVO POTENZA 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR4-2400 Memory)

This is a link to the PCPartPicker for the RAM, https://pcpartpicker.com/product/c8rcCJ/geil-memory-gpr416gb2400c16dc.
Thank you for your help!
