Best budget GPU for under $250 new or used

I'm looking for a budget GPU to convert my desktop into a gaming rig. I was thinking GTX 1050ti? I really don't know much about GPU's so I was looking for some input. Specs for the computer are:

i7-3770 3.4ghz
8gb DDR3 RAM
275W PSU(but can be upgraded if necessary)

Yes as of right now the GTX 1050 Ti is the best you can find for under $250 on any given day. But if you can find a GTX 1060 3GB or 6GB for that price that would be better. You will want to upgrade that power supply.

We are missing the mid-range ($170-$270) GPUs that have all sold out to the cryptocurrency miners; namely..

RX 470/480
RX 570/580
GTX 1060
