My motem gets super hot, how to cool it?

Modems get hot. My modem gets very hot as well. You could place a fan to blow on it and see if that would help a little. Also, be sure to place your modem out in the open to allow the heat to escape from inside. Never place a modem inside of a shelf or enclosure. It will overheat if you do. If it's getting so hot and not working properly, and it is new, return it if possible.
