Bought a used T-3500 to be used as a server. There's 6 slots that can handle 4GB sticks for a total of 24GB. I got 6x4GB sticks all of the same technologies, speed etc...

Every boot up I get this error "The Current memory configuration is not optimal" I did the basic RAM swap and all the sticks are good.

I was reading in the manual that with this configuration the Channel Mode should be set to TRI

Not even sure what it means but most importantly I have no clue where in the BIOS where to find that option

Thanks

Solution
Post here as much information regarding the installed sticks such as Part# and memory description from the label of the stick or use CPU-Z utility to gather this information.

Tri is Triple Channel, do not need to set this as Tri, If they are identical pairs, the channel mode will auto set to Triple.
