So, I had this pc for like some months now, but the gpu is driving me crazy.
If I remove the 1050ti for atleast a week or so from the socket, and used another gpu along that week before finally re-fitting the 1050ti back to place, the 1050ti would work just fine for 3 weeks. But after that 3 weeks, it would crash every 5 minutes into heavy programs/games.
I have been testing this pattern 2 times and it's always the same case : 1 week of removal = 3 weeks fine work, then it's all crash. the gpu itself is fine, and there's no performance, heat, voltage, etc differences during and after that 3 weeks, only after the 3 weeks it would crash on every heavy programs/games every 5 minutes. I can always do that, but I'd totally like to have the gpu working as it should every time.
During that 3 weeks, I could even run Battlefield 1 for hours with smooth gameplay, but after that, even half life 2 needs to be on lowest setting for it to not crash. Also, before every crash, there would be a sheer amount of graphical disturbances, like missing and/or replaced textures, broken 3d models/polygons, cut up hud, and some weird purple-ish dots around the screen, usually around 2 pixels wide and 6 pixels tall. Or sometimes it would just went full blank. the crash would require me to alt-tab, even that sometimes the windows would lag a lot after the alt-tab menus pop out.
I don't know what did this, but I want to know why. Or if any of you have a fix to this, it's highly appreciated.
