I'm trying to get into recording my gameplay and maybe live streaming it. So yesterday I have tried xSplit gamecaster and broadcaster and I tried nvidia software and one. I was trying to figure out the software and I muted my Mic and everything just to see how it works but I was playing with a friend and we were talking over Skype and after recording a few minutes I stopped and watched it and the problem was that you could hear my friends voice and the game. is there a was to only have the game audio without the Skype audio in the recordings?

Solution
There are some good recording software's out there, paid or free, check this list -

Free -

1. Shadowplay - http://www.geforce.com/geforce-experi... (Personally i think is the best one)
2. OBS - https://obsproject.com (Never used)
3. Xsplit Broadcaster - https://www.xsplit.com/#broadcaster (Never used)

Paid -

Action! (Used once, but only the trial version it is good, but there are better ones)
Fraps (The old Fraps known by everyone, its simple but it really impact your framerates depending on the recording quality and resolution)

As for your Audio problem, just quit Skype for gaming already and download "Discord" for team gameplay, it's the best free VOIP for gaming you will find. You can choose both Mic and Sound Output devices...

As for your Audio problem, just quit Skype for gaming already and download "Discord" for team gameplay, it's the best free VOIP for gaming you will find. You can choose both Mic and Sound Output devices and remove Noise from voice. I used to use Skype but it just makes games lags because of it's large bandwidth usage, it's not a really gaming voip software but an alternative.

To record your audio, simply don't record the Mic with the Gaming Recording Software, instead use an external software like Audacity and set it to record your Mic separately, then use the Recording Software just to record your gameplay and your friend's voice. Once you've finished, choose a video editing software of your choice and do some working on your video editing by syncying your video with your voice which is not really that hard, try to set the VOIP software sounds to different outputs and record the only ones you want to.

Hope that helps.

Cheers.
