I'm thinking to buy gtx 1060 strix from my place but somehow it's unavailable now but i wants rgb lightning and three fan design so i am now thinking to buy gtx 1070 strix 8gb oc so plz help me will it work with my pc confg that is
I5 6402p
8gb adata 2400mhz Ram
1TB toshiba hdd
ECS H110M4-C3D MOTHERBOARD
Corsair 650W power supply
Plzz guy's answer fast because only 2 of the graphic card is in stock so i have to buy it soon so plz hope for a positive reply thnks guy's in advance

Your CPU will bottleneck the 1070 some, but it would still perform much better than a 1060. The problem is that 1070 prices are crazy high right now due to the mining craze. You might want to wait a month or two and you could see the prices drop significantly. The MSRP for the 1070 is $350. So if it cost much more than that, you may want to wait and find a better deal. Remember, RBG lighting has nothing to do with performance.

Thanks for the answers i wants to ask another question that I'm using 1024*768 resolution will it change the game of bottleneck means I'm thinking to play games like nfs rivals gta V and forza horizon 3 on that resolution so I'm a little bit afraid

Do you have a graphics card now? If that is the best resolution you have, then I would tell you not to get either the 1060 or the 1070 and I would get he 1050ti and use the left over money to buy a 1080p monitor. No matter the CPU or the GPU, a 1060 and a 1070 will give you the exact same performance on a 768p monitor.

The only reason you would go ahead and buy a 1060 or a 1070 now is if you planned on buying a new monitor soon. Below is a really good monitor that will pair well with a 1050ti/1060/1070.

In truth, if you cant afford both the card and the monitor now, then I would wait. See GPUs pricing is crazy right now because of miners. I am seeing 1070's that are selling for $500 where they should be around $350. So if money is an issue, then wait a month and see if the pricing goes down and you can use the $500 you have for the 1070 and get it and a monitor.

Your other option is to go with AMD and a freesync monitor. But that would mean getting an AMD card. Right now they are in the $400-$500 range, where a couple of months ago you could get a 580 for $225 all day long. If you wait for these prices to go down, which they should as the price of Etherium is going down, then you could get a 580 and a really nice freesync monitor all of the price of what the card would cost you today. the lower the resolution the MORE cpu matters, yours is fairly weak dont waste money on a 1070 unless you get a 1440p monitor LOL

In my country gtx 1070 strix cost me around 606 usd and i don't think gtx 1050 ti can run forza horizon 3 and i don't have enough money to buy another monitor which is 1440p and another thing is that i want rgb lightning so badly i luv that to much and the main problem is my dad is agreed to buy me a graphic card but if i say that i don't need that then they will never i thinks they will never buy me that again so what should i do i will upgrade my build nxt year when i collect enough money to upgrade my mobo and cpu so plz should i have to buy it and don't use it with my rig or should i have not to buy it and wait which means i will never get that graphic card again in my life

You will get the exact same fps with a 1070 that you will on a 1050ti while playing Forza 3 or any other game because your system will max out the monitor's capability.

You cannot overclock that processor, it is locked. You need to get a "k" processor. Also, that motherboard cannot overclock a processor. You would need to get a "Z" motherboard.

The monitor will be your bottleneck. You would only be using about 50% of your system's capability.
