I know this might seem like a stupid question, but I have this motherboard in my ASUS M32BF, however I have an FM2 CPU. All websites are showing it as an FM2/FM2+ motherboard, so would I be able to upgrade from my FM2 CPU to a FM2+ CPU?

Thanks.

The A55BM-A/USB3 is an FM2+ motherboard, making it backwards compatible with FM2 chips., (FM2 chips can be used on FM2+ motherboards, but not vice-versa as FM2+ have additional pins not present on the FM2 motherboards).

The compatibility list is here:
https://www.asus.com/Motherboards/A55BMAUSB3/HelpDesk_CPU/

In short, yes, you can use a *compatible* FM2+ chip on the board.
