I currently have a really old PC
MB: ASRock K10N78D
CPU : AMD Athlon II X2 250, 3.00 GHz
GPU : ASUS EAH5750
Ram : 4x1GB, DDR2
Some random case and if I'm not mistaken a 500W power supply.

I want to upgrade some stuff , but since I'm on a tight budget I can't afford everything in one, so I'd leave the new GPU some time. I'd get the following things :
MB : ASUS M5A78L-M LX3
CPU : AMD FX X8 8300
Ram : 2x HyperX FURY Blue 4GB, DDR3

I'd use it for mediocre gaming and programming.

no you are wasting your money.

go for the pentium g4560 with a b250 motherboard and ddr4 ram.
if you cannot afford that, you are really wasting your money.

The Pentium G4560 is a beast of a CPU, it leaves the FX-8300 in the dust for half the price. Only problem is It's out of stock on the website that I want to buy it from :/

I haven't really been thinking about it, but I guess my budget would be around 240$ without a GPU.
