Hello everyone,

I am running a GIGABYTE H170N-WIFI Board and I can't get it to run with two sticks of RAM
The RAM I am using can be found here: GSkill RAM

Essentially the problem I am running into is my computer gets stuck in a boot loop as long as I have both sticks of RAM in place. It doesn't matter which stick is in, as long as only ONE stick is in. I have checked several other forum posts and YouTube videos about how to set up an XMP profile, but for some reason everyone else has a BIOS with about a thousand more options than mine.

Please help me if you can, I would really appreciate it!

Thanks

Memory manufacturers guarantee the rated speed and timings of any memory to be obtainable only in the kit it is sold in. XMP profiles are also intended to be obtainable only in the kit it is sold in. Loading up multiple single modules carry no guarantee for compatibility.

You might try relaxing the timings and increasing DRAM voltage to get them to work together. I suggest you try returning them and buying a single kit instead of single modules.
