Best cpu for 24/7 6k rendering

Solution
6k rendering is massive!!! To the point that I would NOT recommend Ryzen or Core i7s at all. Your best option is to go Xeon's or Core i9s or (recommended) Ryzen Threadripper coming soon.

But if you must, get the 1800X as the bare minimum.

If you have a case with great airflow, a top of the line air cooler will do. Otherwise it's gonna be water cooling (which I recommend).

Nope. Either go Big air or big liquid. Specifically that means big fat large air heatsinks with two fans or more, or radiators that are at least 240mm or larger.

You'll probably want to go Big Air as that's more reliable, incase the pump fails on an AIO. Specifically air is better in 24/7 100% load scenarios.

Thank you Chugalug,
Do you think the Xeon is better then Ryzen 1700?
And the more cores, the more better it is for video editing or gaming, isn't it?
