My printer refuses to print CYAN. I have cleaned the nozzles, realligned the print heads and cleaned the print heads using the Maintenance utilities supplied by Epson. I can't afford to buy a new printer. Does anyone have any recommendations/suggestions.

Yes, I have replaced the ink cartridge with a new one but it still doesn't print CYAN.

And when you've got it working again, remember to print a 4" x 6" full colour picture on it at least every couple of days, as well as half an A4 sheet of text. That'll keep fresh ink flowing through it.

Epson printers have very fine printhead nozzles so are more prone to blockages than a Canon printer if not used frequently & regularly. If you can't be bothered to use it every day or every couple of days, a Canon would be a better choice.

that is a good point. make sure you use it often. i used to sell printers and this happened to customers all the time... even happened to my epson printer coincidentally and every color ended up having issues. gave it away, switched to b/w laserjet and never looked back.
