RAM is not proper

I have 2 Rams of 2GB DDR2 & Total amount of Ram is 4GB but PC is showing only 3.25GB in OS as well as BIOS also.... What should I do????

Please be so kind as to explain it to me? Because that whole thing is completely wrong. Don't just make things up.


A 32bit Operating system can only use 4GB of RAM. Some of that 4GB is reserved for the system ( onboard graphics ) and while it's still there it isn't shown. So the 3.25GB you are seeing is completely normal for a 32bit operating system.

Where did you get the number 4 gigabytes from then?
If you're referring to having 4 separate 1 gigabyte sticks of ram, then I must remind you they all have slightly less than advertised due to how math, gigahurtz, and ram works. So if you've got 4 sticks of ram with 1 gig each, it'd probably somehow come out to 3.5 or so in my experience.
