RAM 3200 or 2400 for stability?

Hi first time posting, if I make any mistakes I'm still learning, so keep that in mind.

I'm putting together a new build here https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/list/YnMgWX and was suggested by a friend that I need a lower frequency of RAM eg 2400MHz for my set up due to using 16GB RAM slots and the stability with Ryzen 8 cores.

Obviously I want the max frequency I can use, while still having the room to add more RAM later for maximising the RAM potential. Is anyone knowledgeable enough to give some advice on the 2400MHz over 3200MHz debate and how to get the most out of the RAM while keeping the rest of the stepup.

Thank you.

Don't buy two single DIMM part numbers. Buy a matched set of two DIMMs. The manufacturer has tested the DIMMs as a set and guarantees them as a set.
You can save money by buying 2400MHz RAM. If you buy 3200, you aren't guaranteed that it will operate that fast with Ryzen. It might be 2666 or 2933 or maybe 3200. Some of the RAM vendors have specific part numbers that are intended for Ryzen builds. If you want maximum RAM speed you should use those lists of qualified part numbers.

Thank you Kanewolf, that was really helpful.

I found a list of qualified part numbers https://www.amd.com/system/files/2017-06/am4-motherboard-memory-support-list-en_0.pdf

I think any of the following RAM would be good.

Would be happy to have any comments.
