Hello everyone!
My rig is a gigabyte 970a-ud3p, 2x 4gb ddr3 ram memory, gtx 960 sc, and a fx-6300.
I've OC'ed my gtx with no problem at all, but my processor was bottlenecking, so I am planning on OCing it. However, I am quite fuzzed about the fact that my PSU is sub-par. Would a 430w 80+ bronze PSU suffice to a mid-range overclock of my fx6300 to 4.4ghz?

Solution
i wouldnt risk it.
maybe with something like a gold/platinum rated seasonic/evga/corsair etc.

ocing will add a lot of power that the psu has to deliver, better units are more costly, but worth it.
thats how you get clean and stable power.

look at the evga G2 or G3 units, seasonic platinum rated ones, or the corsair Ax (non-i series) if you can get a cheap refurb/open box.
go at least with 550-650w, this will also allow for some headroom (future upgrades) and should be enough for a few years.
