Hi all
I have a gtx 1050ti and wondering if I should upgrade and if so probably a gtx 970 is the one I would go with

Any comments?

No don't upgrade to a GTX 970. Now isn't really a good time to upgrade because you can't find a GTX 1060 or RX 580 for a good price. You should get one of those two over a GTX 970, but only IF you were to upgrade. What are the rest of your system specs? The GTX 970 only has 3.5GB of full speed memory so it has a handicap.

Right it all depends on the price, and even the GTX 1070 is inflated in price right now. Everything is inflated right now even the 1050 Ti and the used GTX 970.

1050 ti vs 970 (970 is pretty much faster and better)
talking about is there any better choice take a look at your budget and see if you can buy a 1070 .
1060 with (6gb vram) could be a better choice over 970 .
