I'm building my first gaming pc at the end of this month and I don't know what SSD to buy. I only want to install windows 10, a few programmes and a game or 2 on it. https://pcpartpicker.com/list/8Qb3D8 I want to buy a 1 tb hard drive later but from the beginning I'll only use an SSD. Which one from these should I pick? I don't want to spend too much money on an SSD if I don't have to btw.
Samsung 850 EVO 250GB (87,60 €)
KINGSTON SSDNow V300 120GB (55,80 €)
Kingston HyperX FURY 120GB (67 €)
WD GREEN SSD M.2 240GB (70 €)
Kingston HyperX FURY 240GB (86,17 €)
What SSD from these would you suggest that's also fast enough? I'll be happy to hear any other SSD suggestions below 90 €.

Solution
the samsung EVO 250GB SSD would be the top performer in that list. i would recommend for the best experience and performance do not get a 120GB SSD, you will run out of space too fast
Samsung evo.
They perform slightly better and are more reliable with a 5 year warranty.

Be very careful with ryzen ram compatibility.
Go to the crucial web site and access their ram selection app.
Enter your motherboard to get a list of supported kits.
Also, buy a 2 stick kit to get faster dual channel operation.

Samsung all day long.
I have had my 840 evo for 2 years.
Main drive is now a 960 Evo M.2 NVMe.
Fantastic performance, strong reliability, and excellent support software.

When I first got my original 840 Evo, I already had my computer up and running, Windows in, games installed, etc. I did not relish the thought of a fresh re-install........

So I fire up Samsung Magician software, not even really knowing what it did at the time. I see an option that said something like " Clone C drive?" Hmm I said, wonder if this does what i think it does.
So I click it.....
Literally less than 15 minutes later, the software had.
1) Cloned my C drive to the ssd.
2) Renamed my ssd to C.
3) Renamed my platter drive to D.
4) A prompt came up asking if I wanted to optimize my system for the ssd. Things seemed ok so far, so I click it.
5) The software then proceeded to set the Windows settings to optimize for ssd performance. I literally have only clicked a few buttons to this point.
6) A prompt came up asking if I wanted to restart now, so I did.
7) After reboot, I ran the included ssd benchmark, came back with numbers almost exactly the same as the advertised read/write speeds. Like within decimal points of advertised.

This same drive is now in my new build, as a secondary drive, re-formatted , still hitting 95% of the performance under benchmarking that it hit on day one.

I'm sure other products are perfectly good ssd's..
But for myself, and for anyone who asks me?
Samsung all day long.......:)

And ya, nothing under 250 Gb. 500Gb if you can swing it.
