Hello, my mum is soon to be transfered to another position in her workplace and this time, it will revolve around computers, nothing too fancy, but basics needs to be learn. I know a few fair things when it comes about computers, but I dont know how to teach, where would I start, whats necessary, what isnt, is there any good website that could give me good guidelines and also if any of you have any tips I would really appreciate it, basically she will work in the filing room so stuff like Microsoft Office and probably Excel needs to be learned, and I dont know, probably few other basic stuff like browsing through the Internet, finding something on the computer either by manually going to that folder or using Search Index, thanks! I put this in Windows 7 category cuz my question is revolving around working with the basics on an OS, sorry if I didnt put it in the right place

If she's is to be working in the filing room, it is highy unlikely to need to use Word documents or Excel spreadsheets and would probably be specifically excluded from browsing the Net.

She would need a few basic skills in computer filing methodology - folder structures, etc. Then again, she might just be dealing with paperwork. Companies are expected to keep some paper records even in this digital age.

YouTube is a really good way to find videos discussing how to use Windows and other programs like Excel or Word. You can also use Microsoft.com to find product guides for Office and Windows.

Are you trying to keep things free or are you willing to pay for lessons?
