[strike][/strike]Hi (TLDR at the bottom)
A friend gave me a defective deathadder 2013. By defective, i mean the left and right click needs a hard press for it to function + it double clicks. So being a wanna-be-know-it-all, I decided to fix this one just like my previous gaming mice by replacing the clickers.
Here is the issue -- the left and right click is now working perfectly however, it malfunctions while I'm on the desktop. By malfunction, it doesn't click anything on the desktop but functions perfectly while I'm on any software, program or game. JUST ON THE DESKTOP.
The only troubleshooting I haven't done is use Razer Synapse but I doubt this would fix it. Or would it?
Edit (added troubleshooting steps): It works on the first few minutes then it just stops randomly. I've tried the deathadder on a different PC and laptop, still the same. I've removed and replugged to a different USB port, still the same. I even formatted the laptop just to make sure there are no driver conflicts.
Tried using my current Logitech 602 Wireless mouse, works perfectly. Tried using my older Logitech G102 Prodigy, still works perfectly.
